Before going to a Felicity Ward show it would be helpful to go to the gym for a few months to strengthen the stomach muscles because it you haven’t they sure as hell will be giving you gyp given the number of belly laughs the hyperactive Aussie delivers in her hour.
The thread of the story is about losing her bag on a bus when heading for a three day stay in Liverpool and how with the help of social media and friends managed to retrieve it.
But this is almost incidental. Felicity dives through the show with references to a hypnosis app, Japanese exchange students, swimming etiquette, passive aggressive Londoners, her favourite air horn app, train quiet carriages, skype, suicidal builders and urban foxes but I probably missed some I was laughing to hard along with everyone else.
The somewhat negative title does appear towards the end of proceedings which anxiety sufferers like her are 50% more likely to die. As opposed to what she muses?
The quirky karaoke she delivers just has to be experienced I won’t throw a shred of light on it, just to say that if what she promised comes to being, sign me up for a ticket. Just let me get to the gym first.
I have always liked her as a performer and this show is just the best I have seen her produce. And then some. Kill for a ticket!
