Flamenco Fusion 4**** - One4Review

Flamenco Fusion 4****

| On 07, Aug 2022

Brent Bruant and Will Cashel met whilst they were studying at the Royal Academy of Music.
They have been together for over 11 years. This shows in their performance as they are so
literally in tune with each other.
Their style of blending Flamenco rhythms with pop and classical music is extremely well put
together. I was amazed that you could even put a Flamenco twist to Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran,
Daft Punk and for it to sound so good. Their rendition of No Time to Die was absolutely
brilliant.
We were also treated to some of their own compositions. Their first song that they wrote
together, Sirocco, was very atmospheric, capturing the heart of soul of the Flamenco beat.
Danza, their most recent composition, has a more modern Latin American groove.
They have deservedly built up a loyal fan base through busking and playing free gigs in the
gardens of key and frontline workers. I expect by the time they have completed their run at
the Edinburgh Festival that this fan base will certainly have increased.
