Sikisa – Serving Justice 4 ½ **** - One4Review

The first things that strikes home when Sikisa hits her stage are her larger-than-life presence and charisma she exudes. She has captured the room really before she has opened her mouth. And she never looses them throughout the hour.
She is a busy lady, a full-time comedian, a burlesque dancer and an immigration lawyer. How does she fit it all in? We find out gradually.
She loves wrestling, she even does a pod cast on the subject, even undergoing training to participate, but decided otherwise and she detests spiders and karaoke.
Throughout the gag filled hour she talks of her heritage, family, dating, and potentially freezing her eggs. There are also anecdotes and opinions on the British immigration system, a subject she knows oh so well given one of her many jobs, making points, yet understanding that it is a subject that divides.
This high energy show is an excellent way to spend an hour. Sikisa claims that she is living her best life, and the joy and pleasure she brings certainly go a long way to make her audiences achieve the same.
Oh and as to the finale… it was totally unexpected by me anyway, but ‘enjoyed’ by performer and crowd alike.
