Desperate Improvisations - One4Review
In this play by Jan Hendrik Verstraten, John, played by Tim Metcalfe-Wood is hosting a writers brainstorming session with cross-dresser Vera, Frederic D’Amore, Greg, Kevin Sherwani and Maurice, Charles Delaney as the others involved. There are tensions from the start with the different writers all demanding that their own particular genre is the style to be used. This is somewhat resolved they pluck two ‘planted’ audience members for inclusion in this improvised piece and Maureen, Natalie Louka and Emanuel, Shaun Nethercott join our intrepid writers as actors in the piece. This is a well acted and directed piece of theatre that is certainly entertaining, however if m it didn’t totally light my fire.
