Tapped  &  As If A Rag - One4Review

The National Student Theatre Company are one of the mainstays of the Fringe and I have enjoyed most of their performances over the years I have been attending the Fringe, both as a punter and latterly as a reviewer. Then there is this year! The two newly devised plays Tapped and As if a rag I’m afraid left me cold. Tapped, was well staged, the story of a guy and his girl talking while sharing a bath, well at least I understood what was going on and the idea of using polystyrene beads for the water worked well. Sophie Dixon and Ed Cobbold did well. As if a Rag, I will not attempt to explain ’cause I don’t have the slightest clue what was going on. Sorry! I usually feel their productions leave me asking a few questions. This play left me with only one. WHY?
