Deerfield Academy, Deerfield, Massachusetts brought there production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Set in and around the royal court in Athens and a wood ajoining the city in the roaring 20’s. The normal characters are all present the only change is that the actors rehearsing in the wood for the celebrations of the forthcoming wedding are students. Very well performed and beautifully directed this, my favourite Shakespeare play, was a pleasure to watch. The costumes are beautiful and the fairies are magnificent. The cast consists of; Philip Baity, Jennifer Natenshon Caine, Killian Clarke, Jesse Coburn, Harrison Jett Fein, Carolyn Holding, Robert Jacque, Maxwell Jardim, Vanessa Koo, Julia McIlvaine, Alexander Manshel, Meradith Olson, Kevin O’Rourke, Sam Brickman Raerdon, Ansley Rubenstein, Bentley Rubinstein, John Sabo, Bowen Williams, Kyle Yager, and Robert Joseph Zych. They all do a great job and seem to be enjoying themselves. ****
