Real Inspector Hound as written by Tom Stoppard is of course an excellent play, and reading the biogs of the company performing this I could be assured a guaranteed winner. Well, I’m afraid I was a little disappointed. There was no faulting the actor’s performances, the set was adequate, but it was the mauling that the script got somewhere down the line that caused my disappointment.
