Some performances have a sting in the tail, this one had it lived up to its name ‘Wasp’ should surely have been one of those! Sadly all I was left with was a Pain! I overheard the comment “ I loved that, it was weird and inane just like me!” as we left the theatre. Well, that said it all as far as I was concerned. Admittedly I have never really understood Steve Martin and as he is the author it might have started to ring warning bells. This young American cast acting out the All-American apple pie, White Anglo-Saxon Protestant family values with a cardboard cut out set is fairly ironic,  and I thought Yanks don’t do Irony!! This just wasn’t one of the must see shows of this Fringe or me. ** Reviewed by Sheila Kay Jack.
