Creation & All That Jazz - One4Review

There is an easy test to apply to any comedy play. Does it make the audience laugh with the humour of the dialogue and sparkling delivery? After a bright opening sequence, the plot development was slow and tedious. The final ‘big scene’ climax contained the weakest lines and what was supposed to be a big twist at the end was painfully obvious. Consequently, the laughter dried up and ultimately the play was a disappointing experience. The scenario is interesting. Jesus Christ runs a construction company that has won the contract to create Earth. His design team includes his brother Lucifer, Ghandi, Jehovah and Buddha. However, it is a case of intriguing title but a forgettable production. **
