It’s hard to know where to begin with Scott Capurro.  Perhaps it’s best to kick off with a warning:  if you are easily offended then this is definitely NOT the show for you.  Capurro knows no boundaries.  Or rather, he knows about them but he just damn well doesn’t care.  Any topic, religion or race can be picked up on his abuse radar.  Whether it’s simply done to reap the shock value or whether Capurrio stands fully behind everything he says I can’t really tell.  What I do know is that I laughed both in spite of myself and through genuine appreciation of his ability to tear into anything and everything. The show is loud crude and shocking, but it’s also funny – if you can take it.  A number of people have shown that they can’t by walking out of previous shows, but the audience tonight was sat tight, even though they also were wide open to Capurro’s ridicule.  And this is the type of performer who will ask you the type of questions you really don’t want to answer.  Yet even with the ever-present threat of being mocked into submission Capurro always has the laughter rolling forth. An acquired taste, perhaps, but if you think you can stand it you’re in for a unique hour.  You’ll never see Capurro on TV with this type of act so this month is probably the best chance to experience him.  ***
