Amateur Transplants:  in  Theatre - One4Review

My “normal job” is a nurse in the operating theatres, yet I only became aware of the Amateur Transplants a few months ago thanks to an anesthesiologist who played the ‘Anaesthetist’s Hymn’. Thanks to Dr John I planned to see them during this Fringe. With an audience whose content was probably 85% hospital staff we had a great hour. Although most people will enjoy the material us hospital-based folk probably get more out of their set.  The Amateur Transplants are doctors Adam Kay and Suman Biswas who started writing silly songs together in 1998. This has developed and now they are on u-tube, have CD’s and DVD’s plus other merchandise. Well they do say laughter is the best medicine and this was certainly a laugh. ****
