Seymour Mace Presents Funshine! - One4Review
* * * *
I wasn’t quite sure what was about to happen when I entered Stand II to witness Funshine. I certainly didn’t expect what I got however, but I am not complaining!! Oh no!! Far from it.
I had seen Seymour Mace previously and knew this Geordie to be a very funny man but the Mace I saw during this hour of mayhem was still very funny, but a totally different animal altogether. There are not many comedians that could get twenty or so adults playing silly games for crap prizes and everyone, okay some more than others, joined in and basically let their hair down and had a good old laugh.
I’m not sure if it was the loose format, the childlike games, the charisma of the man himself but by goodness it worked. I feel that this show should be made compulsory for all and is certainly a antidote to some of the heavier fare that is on offer.
I am not going into the specific content as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for when you go, and go you really must. If ever a show is titled correctly then this is, plenty of Fun and a vehicle in which Seymour can Shine.
