Geoff Norcott does shock but in a calm, low key way. He does take a risk by exposing male and female weaknesses. The night I saw him, the audience were mainly female and females do not appreciate their frailties being exposed even when they are true as this long married male can testify. However, he is at pains to concede that the female is ultimately superior to the male The characteristics of males and females give him scope to range far and wide for his brand of sharp observational humour. He has carried out the research and he sees the humorous side of the truths he has discovered, some novel, others stereotypical. He can relate these to his childhood and in his marriage. He is in his early thirties and been married for five years. Therefore, I can assure him he is on a lifetime learning curve. Geoff Norcott is an accomplished stand up comedian – good material and well delivered punch lines. He has no problem sustaining the humour for a good solid hour’s worth of entertainment.   ****
