This is a comedy sketch show that is playing late in the Gilded Balloon and the show I attended had a lot of people in the audience, so it must be going well. I suppose.

Both performers are talented, Charlotte Jo Hanbury has a very pleasant singing voice, and Jennifer Warren a comic of some note, however I found this show a shambles.

There was no continuity, seemed to have little in the way of quality material, there was some amusing stuff, just not enough, and for me the show was crying out for direction.

Complaining about the heat throughout, perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised that after thanking the audience for their attention the ladies returned butt naked to pack up their set. Could this have been the highlight of the show? I’ll leave you to be the judge of that.
