The Noise Next Door: Soundhouse 4 Stars **** - One4Review

one4review | On 09, Aug 2013
The Noise Next Door are an improv Sketch team consisting of Tom, Charlie, Sam Tom and Matt. They really set Fringe 2012 alight and are doing a similar job this year as well.
This uber talented quintet use partly scripted scenarios coupled with audience suggestions to provide an hour of fast paced comic mayhem all set in The Soundhouse, an underground club in the dark corner of town, both out front with the acts and behind the scenes with the club’s dysfunctional staff. In fact there are a whole cornucopia of characters to play with.
Slick is a word that springs to mind to describe the experience, the pace never falters and genuine hilarity is evident throughout the hour, an hour that goes all too fast for the very mixed age audience.
It is impossible to do justice in a few words to their hour, so the best thing to do would be go and experience the show yourselves, that is assuming they have not sold out for their run. I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed.
