Rory O'Hanlon: It's Great to Be Here 4**** - One4Review

There are loads of comedians performing at the Fringe year after year and sometimes it is hard to choose who to see. Rory O’Hanlon is one however who should not be missed.
I have seen his show each year for a while now and every time he is playing to a packed room in the bowels of the Cabaret Voltaire and every year he is delivering an hour of excellent well prepared and immaculately delivered material.
O’Hanlon is an engaging and genial comic, he has a set packed through with stories, with gags and of course his crowd work is second to none. He is often self-deprecating about being a red headed Irishman and the most Irish man ever to boot, the stylish Italians and French, his relocation to London and living arrangements, his travels, gigs in Russia and Germany, the Irish monetary situation and the NHS are some of his stopping off points, yet wherever his stories go it is guaranteed that there will follow genuinely laugh out loud moments and observations.
O’Hanlon’s show title could be parodied into It’s great to have you here.
As part of the PBH Free Fringe entry is free, but a bucket collection is taken at the end. Dig deep, you could pay upwards of £15.00 for lesser comics.
