Opera Mouse

This is a gentle and enjoyable way to start your morning at the Fringe with your under eights.

Tilly wants to break beyond the constraints of being a mouse to become an opera star. Unfortunately everyone she meets is either scared of mice or doesn’t believe a mouse can sing. After a lot of practice, and a little bit of luck it won’t be giving too much away to say she succeeds in making her dream come true.

Tilly and her brother Tommy are simple but engaging puppets operated by Melanie Gall. Melanie has a delightful way with the children in the audience and keeps them fully involved from before the show even starts. She also, being a bona fide opera singer herself, has a beautiful voice.

A simple premise engagingly performed – your children will be charmed, as will you.
