Even before the show had started Bernie Dieter was circulating the audience finding her victims for the audience participation that was to come.
Dressed in a punk/glam rock sequined jump suit she starts the show by working her way through the audience encouraging intimacy by getting them to stroke her and each other. Shouting instructions she hilariously gets three guys from the audience to carry her back to the stage.
Backed by her band “The Fear” she provides her repertoire of songs, pulling off the crudest lyrics with her outrageous performance.
This cabaret hostess does not disappoint with her guest list either as we are entertained by the hilarious drag act Karen from Finance and the fabulous Fire Eating performer Kitty Bang Bang.
We learned that even circus acts get a bit fed up with their jobs as Jess Long hilariously acted out a weary performing Hula Hoop routine. She provided a superb demonstration of hula hooping and an even more jaw dropping one when things didn’t go quite to plan. Mime artist Tipi gives a comical performance as he takes the micky out of his trade describing how he would like everything to be real for a change.
Bernie has the most wonderful voice and in particular gave a very emotional rendition of the song “Where Have You Gone?” which accompanied a remarkable and mesmerising trapeze act.
The Mistress of Mayhem and her guests provided an outrageous and shockingly entertaining evening that left the audience wanting more.
