Paul Merton's Improv chums 4**** - One4Review

Paul Merton’s Improv chums 4****

| On 10, Aug 2018

Paul Merton returns to the Fringe with his Impro Chums. The chums turn out to be; Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch, Suki Webster and improv legend Mike McShane.

By the very nature of the improvisation concept, this is a very unpredictable show. The audience is invited to come up with locations, themes, styles and characters which the performers in turn act out an amusing, very clever, entertaining and very random scenario.

The highlights are the musical segments of the show. Suki Webster is the absolute star of the show. Multi talented Suki is masterful at parodying the stage musical genre. The song, together with Mike McShane, with a theme of Boots, the high street store, was exceptionally clever and hilarious.

This is indeed a different show each night. Marvellously entertaining and clever from five talented individuals.
