If, like me, you grew up on the original 1970/80sTV show of Mr Men and then The Little Miss series you will have some strong feelings towards these characters and this show will take you back to a simpler time.

If your kids are big fans (tell yourself that) they will love this. We meet large puppet versions of the usual suspects, Mr Happy, Tickle, Bump etc as well as Little Miss Bossy and Naughty and some characters I wasn’t familiar with but that doesn’t distract from the hour of fun at hand.

We learn some valuable lessons along the way about listening and laughing and being a friend in Happy Land (a tune that will inevitably get stuck in your head). As well as some full on panto “she’s behind you” Shenanigans.

The performers bring life to all the characters and work hard to give the audience a great experience. I did feel sorry for those sitting at the sides of the venue as this was very much staged to be seen from directly in the middle and so I suggest getting in early to bag a middle seat. Fun for all the
family!
