Paul 'Silky' White: The Sound of the Baskervilles 4**** - One4Review

Paul ‘Silky’ White: The Sound of the Baskervilles 4****

| On 05, Aug 2019

Paul ‘Silky’ White seems to have been a fixture at the Fringe for years so why is this the first time I have seen his hour? No idea, but if this is typical of what the man can deliver I have been missing out for ages,
Merseyside born Yorkshire living has always had rep of being a nice guy but this comedy / musical comic is far more than that.
His own style of making each show unique comes across well with his decent sized crowd, he speaks to most of the front few rows, includes some, if not all in his made up on the spot comedy songs, garnering peals of laughter with each and every one.
He is a raconteur as well, having a fund of stories in his locker, yet although he is undoubtedly a quality performer, the atmosphere generated during his set is a bit like he is one of your mates in a bar, albeit a very funny one, who just happens to have brought his guitar along.
So why not go and check him out for yourselves. You may find yourself in a song, in a conversation, oh and even learn a few new words along the way too.
