Susie McCabe has a big stage to fill at Assembly Studio 2 and she does it very well indeed. Great introduction and she has the crowd onside from the get go.

This Glaswegian pocket rocket knows how to tell a gag and delivers a terrific performance. Fiercely proud of her roots, her hour long stand up is excellent.

Susie has great banter with the audience and her patter is absolutely awesome. She talks candidly about her upbringing, her formative years, her homosexuality along with the perils of coming from the East End of Glasgow

She comes across as being one of the lads, and she’s had a variety of jobs that were mainly male dominated. As a result she’s pretty handy to have around the house.

Body image, perfume adverts, modern men and being an agony aunt, are topics tackled by Susie with much hilarity.

The last part of the show is very self reflective and she tells us of her fear of failure. Well, worry not, because this show is a hit without a doubt. And Danny Devito would be lucky to have you as a doppelgänger!
