Afrique en Cirque is an extraordinary show that transports its audience into the heart of Africa through an awe-inspiring blend of acrobatics, music, and culture. From the moment the show begins, it’s clear that this is not just a performance, but a vibrant celebration of African heritage.

The stage, set up as a typical African village with a live band in the corner, immediately immerses the audience. The performers engage warmly, encouraging everyone to join in with a traditional African song, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

The acrobats demonstrate incredible power and strength in each of their performances. Highlights include African drumming on oil cans, brilliant juggling in a marketplace setting, and a mesmerising aerial hoop performance. The breath-taking human pyramid routines leave you on the edge of your seat as they balance atop each other, showcasing their outstanding physical prowess and creativity. A contortionist left the audience in stunned silence with his seemingly impossible flexibility. He literally bent over backwards to entertain the audience.

The excellent live band adds to the atmosphere, with rhythms and melodies that perfectly complement each act. A beautiful solo performance on the African Kora was particularly enchanting, adding depth to the cultural experience.

The audience was completely blown away by this remarkable troupe, culminating in a well-deserved standing ovation. Afrique en Cirque is a must-see event that brilliantly captures the spirit and beauty of Africa.
