All in the name of the Father the Mother and Holy Ghosting 2.5**

This is an autobiography by Ana Little, in a small venue for a small person! The well-spoken 5ft female was born in Romania and moved to Scotland at the age of five before later moving to London. The title of the performance alludes you to Ana’s life as the daughter of a Vicar. As you can imagine, life was pretty streamlined for Ana as her parents did their best to keep her on the straight and narrow.

Ana begins with some jokes about her height before enthusiastically explaining the pitfalls of being the Vicars daughter. She could have followed the path of righteousness to the letter but instead chose to do what she wanted, for example, Sunday communion for most is a solemn and religious affair but for Ana it was the hair of the dog! She dated a male who resembled Pete Docherty which did not go down very well with her high expectancy parents and just like Pete, she dabbles in recreational drugs which she says is as high as she has ever been!

The advertised time for this show was 1 hour yet it barely lasted 30 minutes. I was expecting Ana to go into more depth about being a Vicars daughter with perhaps some funny stories, but it didn’t happen and just as I was beginning to enjoy the performance, it suddenly just ended. There are definitely the makings of a good show here, but it needs to be expanded.
