CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation 4**** - One4Review

CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation 4****

| On 11, Aug 2025

This improvised show, performed by a wonderful group of actors, is a murder mystery. At the start of the show we are asked to choose a name for the murder victim, the location of the murder and the murder weapon. There were many interesting suggestions put forward and in the end our murder investigation was set in a kebab shop, where the poor owner was killed by bad breath!

I can’t quite understand how they manage to communicate whilst acting and sticking to the outline of the plot, but this was done with extraordinary talent. It really is a lot of fun. There were 8 actors who were equally funny, talented and engaging. We loved how they took on different roles and added layers to the story.

I took my 13 year old along with me to review this show and she loved it. The show is advertised as suitable for ages 12 and over which I think is right. There’s a wee bit of swearing and ‘adult themes’ but nothing unsuitable for older kids.

Set in the lovely Ermintrude at Underbelly, this show is a must see for fans of mystery, improvisation and fun.
