Comedian, actor, celebrity, Tom Rosenthal returns to The Edinburgh Fringe with his show “Whatever people say I am, that is what I am” It’s a wonderful hour of intelligent, unpredictable comedy, very finely crafted by one of best comedians I’ve had the pleasure to review.
Known for his iconic roles in “Friday Night Dinner” and “Plebs”, he delivers a performance that keeps his audience onside and howling with laughter. He’s very surefooted and confident on stage and builds up rapport with the crowd with ease.
Although the show pays homage to The Arctic Monkeys and their leader Alex Turner there’s so much more on the menu. From early on in his life, being the son of a celebrity has shaped this nepo-baby into a well rounded, endearingly funny guy.
There are times he guides his show into uncharted and uncomfortable territory but that adds to the charm of this show. His performance is completely on point, perfectly executed and delivered with flair.
Shalom! Mr Rosenthal, you played a blinder and although your feet may only be worth 4.65 stars on wiki-feet, you gave us a 5 star show! A definite must see, for any Fringe Fans.
