Jay Foreman’s Disgusting Songs For Revolting Children 4****

| On 08, Aug 2015

What a great experience this was! The show is performed in the Pleasance Green, and to date I have yet to find venues more centred upon children than the Pleasance, so as you arrive, the bigger children(grown ups) are sat upon stools while the children are able to use the giant bean bags upon the floor.

Your host Jay greets you all with a handshake at the entrance and allows plenty of time for shuffling until everyone is settled, and I wouldn’t advise being late as you may find yourself inadvertently part of the show. From there on in, the children are giggling whilst the adults are squirming. Jay Foreman’s wee poems and songs are disturbingly catchy and my daughter was still singing about caterpillar sick right up until bedtime! I would recommend this show as well worth a visit as its highly entertaining and amusing and basically delivers what you thought you would be getting when you picked up the flyer.

The performance that we attended was actually a sell out show, so I wouldn’t waste much time considering it….just book it!

Pleasance Courtyard, August 7th – August 18th. 17.00hrs, 1 hour.
