This show was performed in The Pleasance Green, the children were invited to sit on the floor around the campfire whilst they got to relax on the bean bags. This was a great show as not only did it provide an interesting form of entertainment as it focused upon American folk tales which we, as the audience weren’t really familiar with. It also contained American folk songs , the music for which was performed by the cast members, which again weren’t ones that we all knew. This did two things, it engaged the audience as we listened and it provided a welcome break from the hectic-ness of the Fringe, where the children were both entertained but relaxed also.

The cast were friendly and approachable, the show was a pleasure to be part of as it was interesting hearing tales that we hadn’t heard before. The songs and music were well performed and easy to follow and children and adults alike seemed to be enjoying each and every minute. Well worth a visit.

Pleasance Courtyard. August 8th – 16th & 22nd &23rd. 15.15 hrs.
