I am delighted to see that Hairy Maclary remains a firm fixture at the Fringe, and unlike other Fringe regulars, he returns each year with a different tale to tell, and each time the audience are nothing short of delighted. This years offering is Hairy Maclary’s Cat Tales, and  at first I was a bit concerned that we may be getting too old for Hairy and friends. I needn’t have worried, from the offset we were clapping and stomping with a diverse audience of all ages and came away having had a fun filled hour of non stop entertainment!

The story centred around the search for the missing trophies for the local cat show, all the favourites are present along with our personal favourite, Slinky Malinky, and obviously Hairy Maclary.

The show is lively, energetic and great fun and I would recommend that it become a must see on everyone’s Fringe ‘to do’ list, and I can safely say that it’s suitable for all ages.
