There are two types of people Cloud explains early on in his show, those who believe and those who are sceptics and I have to admit to being one of the latter. The likes of Derren Brown and his performances are not my usual choice of entertainment but, and it is a big but, having witnessed Cloud’s performance I have to say I am wavering a bit.

From the off his sell-out audience are treated to an exhibition of him coming up with the impossible feats and his ability at achieving the impossible coupled with an engaging manner and style holds everybody spellbound.

His hour is an exhibition of achieving the impossible as the one time criminal profiler, using as many random audience members as possible, deduces things that can only be described as mind blowing. One of his deductions are based on hearing a single word and being able to place the speakers’ home town, the way body language betrays everything, well if you are Colin Cloud it does, were a taster of his skills and as for his unbelievable finale… well I’ll leave you to find out for yourselves.

I have to say I have no idea how it was all achieved, but it was, and right in front of me. Am I still a sceptic? Definitely not so much as before.
