Emmerdale star Louise Marwood writes and stars in this enthusiastic and chaotic performance that looks at the life of Imogen Wood AKA Rita Lynn. Imogen, an ex-dancer, hits rock bottom with her co habiting boyfriend as their lives evolve around their uncontrollable drug addiction. Addicted to Ritalin and Cocaine, both torment yet compliment each other in a back and forward spiral of manic behaviour. An edited version of Marilyn Monroes, I wanna be loved by you, expertly highlights the conflict between Imogen and her boyfriend while being funny at the same time.

Not only is Imogen in conflict with addiction and her boyfriend, but she is also in conflict with her alter ego Rita Lynn throughout the performance, which adds to the manic situation.

Imogen lands herself an interview with Helen, a stately woman and after snorting her way through the interview, ends up becoming her life coach. Imogen tries to hold the job down while fighting her drug addiction. Her relationship and her drug abuse reach a climax, she contemplates suicide and turns to God looking for guidance and direction.

Marwood’s energetic performance is almost insane as she voices for all the characters extremely well. Despite the serious background story of drug addiction, there is still plenty humour and laughter to enjoy!
