Kai Humphries - Stuff Protocol 4**** - One4Review

Geordie born but Edinburgh based now Kai Humphries has always been a very funny guy, well certainly since I first saw him a few years ago but for me this is his best Edinburgh show to date.
Humphries opens with stuff about why he shouldn’t wear a hat and that he is trying to tone down his fairly strong accent with the help of a present from his flatmate a Scottish stand-up and from this point it was a rollercoaster of humour than filled his hour to the limit.
Humphries is a bit of a rebel and is not a huge fan of protocol, cue the show title but only breaks the rules sometimes… He’ll explain. Relationships, visit to a Sea life Centre, issues at his gym and an earlier job as a life guard at a leisure centre together with an encyclopaedic knowledge of rap artistes real names give this genial comic a chance to shine. If there was a highlight for me then it would have to be the inclusion of his Alta ego in the hour but to find out more check for yourselves.
