Take 11 young High School (American) students mix in an American take on the bard some fast talking, a one wicked imagination and you get ‘That American Shakespeare Thing’. They say I talk quickly, but at times I couldn’t catch what they were saying as it was over too soon. They also say humour does not cross the Atlantic, there were times other members of the audience were in hysterics and I’m sitting going what? Cleverly written and well performed but not quite my cup of Tea. ***
