Girl and Dean, in reality Jess Ransom and Sarah Dean, are a new to the Fringe two woman sketch team and are playing in the compact venue  that is the Pleasance cellar. They have an awful lot of very funny material all of which is self written and all of the devices that are usual to sketch comedy is given an airing. I counted seventeen sketches, some lasting seconds, others much longer, but all delivered with ability and timing that belie their youth. All seemed to please their audience and some drawing genuine belly laughs from this fairly full lunchtime show. These girls have made an excellent start to their Edinburgh career and assuming they can maintain their start I foresee  a long career ahead for both. ***
