C Venues version of the best of the Fringe is staged in the bijou baraka venue and is a taster of five acts who are performing at a venue near you. Compered by Tom, that’s all I got, there were excerpts from The Prodigal Daughter by The Women of Asia, some excellent dance from Project Wings, a Czech Republic troupe , a bit of stand up from Rob who is part of the C team, Oxford Gargoyles a jazz acappella group at C and a brief busked number saw them join forces with Out of The Blue another Oxford based acappella group. The final act was the Jewish chronicles performing at C Central. Add to the mix a couple of free tickets as prize and it is a good way to start the day. ***
