Randy is a purple-headed drunk! He is loosing his job, his, life and his wife!  The amount of smutty gags arising from this description is actually phenomenal. I am not going to fall in to that trap. What we get to see is the life story of a character, that this character is a puppet is irrelevant. Randy takes us through the ups and downs of his carer and his love life, utilising recorded incoming phone messages and further puppetry.  Randy dresses up in costumes with wigs and props to give us visual stimulus. The appearance of the ‘Flash-back Yeti’ added that extra fluffy appeal. This is a very clever show, which is also very funny. The fact that Heath McIvor keeps himself very much in the dark leaving the spotlight to Randy and the Yeti is both to be admired and frustrating. I saw ‘Sammy J and The Forest Of Dreams’ last year but had no plans to go back but after seeing this I’m very tempted. Oh and if anyone meets Randy give him a hug from me bit please please can I have a ‘Flash-back Yeti’? *****
