Aisling Bea won last years ‘So You Think You Are Funny’ competition in Edinburgh and returns to the site of her triumph with her 2013 show.

Ms Bea hails from a rural area of Ireland and although she now lives in London has a reasonable amount of her set based on stuff from her ‘native land’ be it the only night club in 20 miles, her mother’s career as a jockey, the Irish economy and the potato famine but has plenty of other subjects to talk about as well.

As a trained actress also she knows how to present herself well and just oozes talent and class throughout her hour, she is also adept in audience interaction and is happy to include the ‘character’  in the front row despite his somewhat disruptive manner.

Hip-Hop dancing, skills sets, and even a play she has written are included also, is there no end to the ladies abilities.

Last year Ms Bea thought she was funny and Edinburgh agreed. Now her ever growing audience KNOW it. C’est La Bea? More like C’est La Best. Miss her at your peril.
