Craig Hill - Tartan About! – 4 Star **** - One4Review

If it is Fringe time then there is a certainty that Scotland’s own kilted comic will be packing them in to his show with a double entendre title.
It is also a sure bet that when he hits the stage that it will be to an up-tempo number and he will dance around the stage strutting his stuff before commencing on his ritual of finding out about the audience and places where they are from, and he has a pithy comment or two for each and if you are near the front then there is no escape, you are part of the show. It has been like this for a while and yet the front seats are always at a premium.
Something else that is a given is that he will get so many laughs in his hour that most will have sore stomach muscles from laughing at the camp comedy mayhem he delivers. Hill is a well-travelled guy and he has a million and one anecdotes to relate in between his audience riffing.
There can be no doubt that Craig is a natural entertainer and his popularity never seems to wane. Okay no message in his set other than just having a good time.
