Dan Nightingale: Love in the Time of Cholesterol 4 Star **** - One4Review
one4review | On 22, Aug 2013
There is no doubt in my mind that Dan Nightingale is a funny and intelligent comic who on the times I have seen him previously always delivered. And this show is no exception.
Nightingale is now 32 and feeling broody. Having not been in a serious relationship for a while he has resorted to trying online dating and more than a few of his observations are extremely funny and well observed, but he did have more in his locker that just this.
He also has a liking for bumper stickers and is trying to revive the old habit of adorning his solid old Volvo with some of his own creations.
Often self-deprecating and not exceptionally ground breaking in his content, this doesn’t in any way detract from the quality of the hour he entertained one and all with. He has a non-confrontational style and it is quite safe to sit on his front row.
There were not too many high points, yet absolutely no low ones either, just a good solid hour of comedy from a very personable comedian that is more than worth checking out.
