Jessica Fostekew – Moving 4Star **** - One4Review

Jessica Fostekew – Moving 4Star ****

| On 12, Aug 2013

After two very successful previous Fringe shows at ‘the Big Four’ and big bills running to thousands to pay Jessica Fostekew has moved to the PBH Free Fringe in an effort to being able to showcase her undoubtable talents without running up a third world sized debt.

She has also been moving in her personal life too, having recently moved in with her hoarder of a boyfriend torches, DVD’s and broken scart cables are just some of the stuff he collects but most things it seems.

In her well observed and delightfully delivered hour Jess relates a series of anecdotes in respect to this move, zumba classes, and previous journal entries from her travel of a decade ago, the oddities of B&Bs and a sort of top trumps in the romantic stakes with their new neighbours.

Ms Fostekew is an engaging comic and has a voice that is rich and alluring, and even battling with noise spillage from the adjacent space the hour spent in her company is most pleasant.

The nature of the Free Fringe is that entry is free but a contribution is hoped for at the end of the show, preferably a foldable one, as this is certainly a show worth paying for.
