The Nualas in ‘Hello again, we’re the Nualas’ 4**** - One4Review

The Nualas in ‘Hello again, we’re the Nualas’ 4****

| On 05, Aug 2014

The Nualas are a singing comedy trio from Ireland made up of a blonde and married Nuala (Sue Collins), a brunette and divorced Nuala (Anne Gilden) and a single red head Nuala (Maria Tecce).  They were formed in 1995 in Dublin, had huge success but decided to call it a day in 2001 when they last performed at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of their farewell tour. However much to the delight of the audience they reformed in 2011 and are back on tour.

Their show is them having a nice relaxed chat about life, love, relationships and current affairs, then singing extremely amusing songs about their chat. Topics such as buying a baby on ebay, meeting and marrying a lovely man named Fin and their own short version of 50 shades of grey the musical are covered amongst many more.

They have good light-hearted banter with the audience, who seem to be ardent followers and love their slightly risqué material. In their lovely matching shiny dresses they picked up in a Lidl sale the Nualas really entertained, they are great performers and all extremely talented. Don’t leave it so long next time ladies.
