Monahan Land must be a wonderful place to live. Patrick has been a top draw comedian over many a year and the family friendly Teesider is always value for his ticket price.

There are a number of reasons for this and the repeat business he generates year on year, he is a showman, he is very audience interactive, obviously enjoys his performance as much as the near capacity audience does, he is always smiling and I don’t think it is possible to take offence at anything he says or does.

Don’t look for any deep and meaningful messages emulating from his stage because there aren’t any. Don’t look for anything else than gags, and pure fun and the fact that he tends to drop off the prepared material and reacts to what he gets from the crowd, to my mind always a sign of a good comedian. He therefore is struggling to get everything in, in fact I’m sure he could easily do two hours.

If you haven’t seen Monahan perform before then why not? He has such massive popular appeal and it would be safe to take your maiden aunt to as well partly due to his swear free policy.
