Absolute Radio Breakfast Show Deejay Christian O’Connell returns to the Fringe with another hour of his musings following his success of last year and it is clear to see why he is as popular as he is.

As a father of two young daughters O’Connell orates and finds the funnies of the difference as to his upbringing and what is expected as a father today, sports days, discipline, ‘the talk’ on birds and the bees, hence the show title but this engaging comedian also can and does opine on a selection of other topics along the way.

As a man who talks for a living both on air and also in the ‘other job’ as a stand-up his delivery is confident and clear and an hour spent in his company is a very quick one indeed.

Did I have a favourite moment? Well maybe two, a trampoline, six kids and a hamster was certainly one, and maybe why he missed out on Hollywood would be another, but in truth all the stories had merit and I look forward to seeing him return in the near future.
