Aye Right? How No? - The Comedy Countdown to the Referendum with Vladimir McTavish & Keir McAllister 4**** - One4Review

Given the forthcoming referendum in Scotland within the next few weeks stalwarts of the Scottish comedy scene Vlaimir McTavish and Keir McAllister have teamed up once again and are presenting their Fringe 2014 show on and around this thorny topic.
The show, illustrated by some slides breaks down into four sections, the opening routines by our hosts, a guest, another set and a further guest. The guests change on a daily basis but you can be assured that each will be quality one for example Rory Bremner doing stand-up with only a few impressions was one of them on the day I attended.
McTavish and NcAllister have a double act that is tried and tested over the last three Fringes and more, their comedy is well crafted and delivered as they extract numerous laughs from those in the centre of the political spotlight.
All in all a very good way to spend an hour and you don’t have to be Scottish to enjoy it.
Also worth checking out is the McAllister written play Split Decision which features McTavish in one of the starring roles daily at Assembly Rooms at 13.30.
