That Pair, sketch comedy duo Kathryn Bond and Lorna Shaw were previously known as The Silky Pair and it has been a couple of years since I loved their previous offerings.

However this years was less of a treat even though we were all guests at their Princess Party. Hosted by suitably attired Princess Lorna being the chief princess and Kat, playing all the other roles. The style of the straight woman funny woman is employed throughout.

Audience members were involved as they selected the birthday princess, mayhem and revelations and a musical number ensued but I’m afraid for me at least they never really got the party started.

That Pair are more than competent performers I just felt the material was oh so not strong enough and there is only so much ‘Princessing’ that I and the other audience members could take.
