Ellie Taylor – Infidelliety 4 ****

| On 07, Aug 2016

Ellie Taylor first came to my attention a few years ago when she took part in the TV ‘comedy X-Factor’ Show me the Funny where she did pretty well. The former model has also appeared on a number of TV shows Snog, Marry Avoid on BBC 3 and has appeared on Mock the Week so her star is undoubtedly rising.
Previous Fringe shows have cemented my opinion of her as a quality comic and judging by the sold out Tron on the day I attended I am not alone in my opinion.
Recently married Ms Taylor has an extremely well crafted set that has obviously been honed into a slick, well presented vehicle. She has oodles of funny material, a pleasing delivery and mixes well with solid set and crowd work to mix things up.
We learn much about her life, her past conquests, her ‘number’, her perceived desire to escape monogamy of marriage and injuries that occurred when training for a charity marathon but this is just scratching the surface of the set.
This year’s show is war and away the best show she has delivered in Edinburgh and already I am looking forward to the 2017 offering.
