Zoe Lyons – Little Miss Fit 4**** - One4Review

Zoe Lyons – Little Miss Fit 4****

| On 12, Aug 2016

Zoe Lyons is a regular visitor to Edinburgh Fringe and as with all her other shows the 2016 offering of Little Miss Fit is full to the brim with her jokes and take on life.
She makes good use of her space, barely still for a moment as she commences on the meat of the piece as never having fitted in, from her catholic upbringing in Ireland, through homophobia, her dad’s excursion into IT, a trip to Amsterdam with her mother and her straight talking Dutch wife being a few stopping off points.
Zoe of course has thoughts on Brexit, the shapeshifting Tories, Theresa May, the inevitable Donald Trump, political correctness especially in the town of Brighton and the growing trend in nearly throwing things away.
This is a well-crafted hour as one would expect from a quality comedian of her standing. Plenty of laughs, well observed and the right amount of silliness thrown in as well.
In an Edinburgh packed with ‘unhappy’ comedians Zoe Lyons is one of the few that is happy she states near the top of her hour. I think the excess of 100 people who saw her show were pretty happy with their choice of attending too.
