Tom Allen
As a previous winner of the BBC new comedy award we have high expectations. Tom delivers across the board, he has made numerous TV appearances, shows such as a countdown, 8 out of 10 Cats, the John Bishop show. He also supported Sarah Millican on her tour of Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
As the gig gets started he makes himself available to meet each guest. This nice interaction immediately endears you towards him and he continues to have a warm relationship with the audience for the rest of the show.
That is unless you happen to sit in the front row (never, never sit in the front row!). The RAF Photographer, the dental nurse, the robotic accountant all are gently and deservedly punished for their poor choice of seating by receiving a pointed tongue lashing.
Tom gives us a wonderful insight into a difficult upbringing. The shopping trips to Bluewater, the driving lessons are all hilariously described.
Tom is the consummate, performer, no detail is missed in order to put on a great show. Beautifully turned out, with a smooth polished delivery.
Highly recommended, an excellent show.
