I’ve never been to a Panto in August before, well I have now. This is an absolute riot and I loved it.

Die Hard is a Christmas movie, oh no it isn’t, oh yes it is!! You get the idea. John Mclaine takes to the stage to rescue his wife and the hostages held in the Nakatori Tower, killing baddies along the way with a little help from the audience.

There are some brilliant moments in this show, it’s not really a Panto for little kids as the language is very much designed for an adult audience. Slow-motion fight scenes, song and dance routines and the ultimate baddie, Hans Gruber, of course it’s got all the components for a Panto.

All the cast can sing, dance and act with some of them playing multiple characters from the movie. It’s very clever and all the key moments are re-enacted beautifully. The Duran Duran medley is a stroke of genius by the way.

This is a must-see, feel-good Fringe show, so try and catch it if you can. Yippee Kyee Mother F***ers, you won’t want to miss out this one!
