| On 23, Aug 2023

Maggie is an American from L.A in California, and the three important feelings throughout her life are Fear, Grief and Horniness.

On arrival, audience members are encouraged to write a secret on a bit of paper and put it in a basket before Maggie tells the story of her life, starting from inside her mothers womb. Her mothers mum passed while Maggie was still in the womb but she does her best to console her mum from within.
On to high school years and Maggie initially struggles to be apart from her mum but her two school boyfriends take her mind off her mum.
At the age of 14, she soon discovers she has ADHD, Depression, PTSD and Acid reflux. It’s a concerning time and given the events of 911, fear and uncertainty are high on her agenda.
With some somber music followed by some light sexual references, you begin to understand where Maggie is at in life, a girl wanting to be a woman.
A tragic event in her life then has her discussing the why’s of suicide and she reflects back to her own writings and how weird the world was at the time in her eyes.
Now with the help of a therapist, Maggie can clearly reflect on events gone by.
The audience secrets are anonymously read out and discussed at the end of the show.

Maggie Widdoes performance is vibrant, energetic and enthusiastic throughout, a non stop journey through her life, dealing with various issues on the way which is sometimes difficult to keep up with but the confident delivery makes the show worth seeing.
